Where do black women fit in? – By Phoenix Calida

And the rich white able bodied man looks down on everyone and says “it’s good to be me”

white feministAnd all the other white men- disabled, or poor, or mentally ill say “at least I’m not a woman”

And the even the poorest of the white women hold their heads up and say “at least I’m white”

And all the other p.o.c. say “we may not be white, but at least we’re not black”

So I look at black men, expecting an ally, but all they say is “at least I’m not a black bitch”

So what do we do when white people look down on black people, but men look down on women?

Where is the room for black women?
